This Registered Users Policy applies to individuals who create a LearnerBox learner account and use registered learner features, including course enrolment, protected course content, assessments, assignment submissions, messaging, notifications, progress tracking, and certificates.
This Policy supplements the LearnerBox Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. If there is a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use will govern unless otherwise stated.
A registered learner must provide accurate and current information during account creation. Each learner account is assigned a permanent LearnerBox learner number for internal identification and learning records.
Registered users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Accounts are intended for individual use and may not be shared, transferred, sold, or used by another person.
Learner accounts may require email verification before sign-in or registered learning access is enabled. Verification links are time-limited and may be invalidated after use, expiration, or the issue of a replacement verification link.
LearnerBox may restrict access to accounts that are unverified, suspended, deactivated, or otherwise not in good standing.
Registered users must use secure passwords that comply with LearnerBox password requirements. Passwords are stored using secure password hashing and are not intended to be recoverable in plain text.
LearnerBox may apply login throttling, temporary delays, session controls, and other technical measures to reduce unauthorized access, credential abuse, automated attacks, or suspicious activity.
Users should sign out when using a shared or public device and should contact LearnerBox promptly if they suspect unauthorized account access.
Registration for a LearnerBox account does not automatically guarantee enrolment in every registered course. Enrolment may be subject to course availability, approval, eligibility, payment status, capacity, or other course-specific requirements.
LearnerBox may approve, reject, suspend, expire, extend, or otherwise modify course access in accordance with course rules and administrative decisions. Where an enrolment request is rejected, LearnerBox may provide a reason for the decision.
Learner enrolment may be tied to a specific version of a registered course. Course content, assessment requirements, completion rules, or resources may differ between versions.
LearnerBox may preserve historical learning records, including enrolment history, module progress, quiz attempts, assignment submissions, evaluations, and completion records, for academic continuity, administration, security, and recordkeeping.
Registered quizzes may be timed and may include limits on the number of normal attempts. Where a time limit applies, the timer begins when the attempt starts and continues regardless of temporary loss of internet connectivity or browser closure.
A quiz attempt may be automatically submitted when its time limit expires. Starting an attempt may therefore count as an assessment attempt even if the learner does not complete every question.
Where multiple attempts are permitted, LearnerBox may use the best score, cumulative score, or another published course rule for progress or completion purposes.
Additional quiz attempts beyond the normal limit may require explicit authorization from an administrator. Such authorization is discretionary and may be limited to a specific assessment and attempt.
Assignment submissions must be the learner's own work unless collaboration is expressly permitted. Learners are responsible for submitting files in the required format and before any applicable deadline or access expiry.
LearnerBox may limit the number of assignment attempts. Additional attempts beyond the normal limit may require administrator authorization.
Submitted files may be stored in protected private storage outside the public website directory. LearnerBox may retain submission history and evaluation records for academic continuity and administrative purposes.
Quiz scores, assignment evaluations, completion status, and other learning outcomes are determined according to the rules published for the applicable course version.
LearnerBox may review or invalidate results where there is evidence of technical abuse, impersonation, unauthorized collaboration, manipulation of assessment systems, account sharing, or other conduct that undermines assessment integrity.
Progress shown in the learner area may include module completion, quiz performance, assignment completion, or other course-specific requirements.
Course completion is determined by LearnerBox based on the requirements applicable to the learner's enrolled course version. Completion is not established solely by reaching the end of course content.
LearnerBox may issue a completion certificate when the applicable completion requirements have been satisfied. Certificates may include a unique certificate code and may reflect the learner name and course details recorded at the time of issuance.
Certificates may be reissued, superseded, or revoked where necessary to correct records, address administrative errors, respond to misuse, or preserve the integrity of LearnerBox credentials.
Registered users may receive service-related notifications by email or within the LearnerBox learner area. These may include account verification, password reset, enrolment decisions, assessment information, administrative messages, course updates, and other operational communications.
Messaging features must not be used to send abusive, unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or unrelated promotional content.
Course resources, assignment materials, submissions, certificates, and profile files may be stored in protected locations and delivered only after server-side authorization checks.
Users must not attempt to bypass access controls, guess private file paths, share protected download links, upload executable or malicious files, or interfere with LearnerBox file-security mechanisms.
LearnerBox may suspend or restrict a learner account or course enrolment where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, policy violations, payment issues, academic integrity concerns, or administrative review.
Suspension may temporarily prevent login, course access, assessment access, file downloads, messaging, or other registered features.
Registered users may request deletion of their learner account, subject to applicable legal, operational, academic record, security, backup, and fraud-prevention requirements.
Certain records may need to be retained even after an account deletion request, including records required to preserve assessment integrity, certificates, transactions, security logs, audit history, or legal obligations. Where appropriate, LearnerBox may anonymize or restrict retained information.
LearnerBox may record technical information associated with registered-user activity, including IP address, browser or user-agent information, timestamps, login attempts, password-reset requests, account activity, administrative actions, and other security events.
Such information may be used for authentication, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, account support, security investigation, audit history, and operation of the registered-user system.
Registered features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, security updates, or service changes. LearnerBox does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature or registered service.
LearnerBox may modify registered-user functionality, course structures, assessment rules, or account features as the platform develops, provided that existing academic and administrative records are handled reasonably and consistently.
We may update this Registered Users Policy from time to time to reflect changes in LearnerBox functionality, registered-course operations, security practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date on this page.
